Kerala’s Thiruvonam lottery first prize rises to ₹30 crore
The first prize in Kerala’s Thiruvonam Bumper lottery has been increased to ₹30 crore from ₹25 crore, the state lottery directorate said on Wednesday.
The Kerala government has issued an order to increase the winnings of its most wanted lottery. The ticket price remains unchanged at 500/- per ticket.
At the same time, as part of the revision of the prize structure, the third prize of this lottery was revised from 50 р to 25,000,000 CZK.
Chief Minister VD Satheesan will launch this year’s Onam Bumper Lottery with a revised prize structure on July 17, State Lotteries Director Anju KS said. Though it has been decided to issue 90 thousand tickets to the agents, they will be printed as per the demand, Ms. Anju said.
Toral lottery winnings amount to ₹125.54 crore.
The prize structure is as follows: first prize (₹30 million), second prize (₹1 million each for two winners in a series of 20), third prize (₹25 million to 20 winners – 2 in each series), fourth prize (₹5,000,000 to 10 winners – one per series), fifth prize (₹2,000,000 – 500 winners of each series, 1. 54 000 to winners), Seventh Prize (2,000 to 81,000 winners), Eighth Prize – 1,000 to 1,24,000 winners, Ninth Prize (500 to 2,75,400 winners), Consolation Prize (₹5 crore each).
In July 2022, the Government of Kerala increased the first prize of the Thiruvonam Bumper lottery to ₹25 crore.
