Drass witnesses the Shauryathon, donation of a CT machine by Shiv Sena

Organized jointly by Sarhad Foundation and Indian Army, Sarhad Shauryathon was marked by Dr. Shrikant Shinde, leader of the Shiv Sena parliamentary party, in Drass on July 6. About 3,000 runners took part in the event.
Dr. Shinde delivered a program at Drass District Hospital earlier in the day. He said the Shiv Sena had donated a CT machine and an ambulance to the hospital. Maharashtra State Secretary Yogesh Kadam, state Shiv Sena chief Anand Paranjape, Ladakh MP Haji Mohammad Hanifa and Sarhad Foundation president Sanjay Nahar were present.
Dr. Shinde said that the party has taken several public welfare initiatives in Kashmir under the leadership of Eknath Shinde. He mentioned the installation of a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Kupwara and the contribution of ₹ 3 crore to the Kargil War Memorial. According to him, the party fulfills its promises.
He said that Éknath Shinde had traveled to Kashmir after the Pahalgam terror attack and arranged for the return of the stranded tourists from Maharashtra. The party built a house for the family of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who died while rescuing tourists. After the marathon Dr. Shinde war memorial in Kargil and paid tribute to the soldiers.
