Finn Allen continued his outrageous six-hitting spree in IPL 2026 and entered the elite list on Saturday after smashing 10 sixes during Kolkata Knight Riders’ clash against Gujarat Titans. The explosive KKR opener has now registered two IPL innings of 10 or more sixes, joining only a handful of batsmen to achieve the feat multiple times in the league’s history. Only Chris Gayle has done it more often, with four such innings to his credit.

The right-hander brutally attacked every Gujarat bowler and raced to a 21-ball half-century, completely shifting the momentum in KKR’s favor during the powerplay. The New Zealand batter eventually fell to a respectable 93 off just 35 deliveries, narrowly missing out on what would have been one of the fastest IPL hundreds ever. His innings included four boundaries and 10 massive sixes at a strike rate of 265.71.

Allen’s innings finally ended when Sai Kishore outwitted him with a run and a drift. Attempting another towering shot down the ground, Allen looked to clear the ropes once more but found Rashid Khan safely placed at wide long-on.The knock also moved Allen further into the KKR record books. His 93 is now the highest individual score by a KKR batsman against Gujarat Titans in IPL history. It was also Allen’s second IPL innings this season with 10 sixes, after his earlier carnage against Delhi Capitals in Delhi.
