They were top of the table after seven games but have since fallen in the battle for the top two spots.Mumbai Indians are also having a poor season overall, with three wins from 11 matches and ninth place in the points table. On the toss, Bumrah said, “We decided to play first. We saw the last match and felt that maybe with the cold weather coming in, the wicket would stabilize. I didn’t think I would be the Test captain before I became the MI captain (smiles). As we can, we still have three matches to play and we want to enjoy ourselves and maybe mess up a few teams, he is not here for personal reasons.PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer said, “We would also bowl first. The wicket looks a bit drier. I still don’t know how the pitch will play, so just be positive. We should stop thinking about what went wrong. We have to think about being fit and having a positive mindset. Harpreet Brar, Xavier Bartlett and Azmatullah are coming.”
