
Satya Institute of Technology and Management (SITAM) director Majji Sashibhusana Rao on Thursday said the institution has set up a new polytechnic with five full-time diploma courses for which admissions will soon be made for the academic year 2026-27. Addressing the media here, he said diploma courses like Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence – Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering and Electronics will enable students to build a strong foundation in key courses after completing 10th examination.
He added that polytechnic students can study engineering courses through lateral entry in future. SITAM College Dean VG Prasuna added that management has focused on quantum computing with the establishment of a new innovation center that has completed 17 new research projects. Principal of Polytechnic College GT Naidu was present at the media conference.
