The Visakhapatnam district administration will conduct special Aadhaar Mandatory Biometric Updating (MBU) camps across Village and Divisional Secretariats on May 12-15 and May 19-22 to facilitate biometric updates for children. District officials said the update affects nearly 57,900 children in the district. Parents have been advised to bring eligible children to the nearest camp for biometric verification. Aadhaar Enrollment Operators, ESD Operators and other staff will oversee the process in the camps. Officials said failure to complete the mandatory biometric update within the stipulated time could affect Aadhaar-related services.
