Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath at CII Summit on May 11, 2026.
At the CII-2026 Annual Business Summit, industry leaders highly praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership and the transformation witnessed in Uttar Pradesh. Industrialists, investors and corporate representatives from across the country said on 11 May 2026 that under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has created a new identity in law and order, investment, infrastructure and industrial development.
Welcoming Mr. Yogi, CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee said, “Uttar Pradesh has contributed immensely to India’s economic progress in the last few years. Infrastructure has been developing rapidly in the state and investment and business activities have gained a new impetus under CM Yogi’s leadership.”
Mr. Banerjee added that manufacturing, logistics, digital governance, urban development and youth empowerment have given Uttar Pradesh a new direction.
CII President Rajiv Memani said, “Uttar Pradesh has witnessed a phenomenal transformation in the last few years and the industry is now looking at the state from a completely different perspective.”
Addressing the CM, Mr. Memani further added, “Industrialists from India and abroad now want to invest in Uttar Pradesh and with his leadership and support, this journey will become even stronger.”
At the same time, he also appreciated the law and order situation and the administrative functioning of the Yogi government.
Projects like Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway, Ganga Expressway and Jewar International Airport were specially highlighted during the event. Memani said these projects have completely changed connectivity and industrial opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.
He added that people’s perception of UP changes completely while traveling through the state.
The summit also felicitated cultural and religious initiatives like Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and Mahakumbh. The speakers said that the successful organization of the Mahakumbh is an example of Uttar Pradesh’s administrative capabilities and efficient management of major events.
