In the ongoing public debate over the convulsions in the AIADMK, many are asking why party general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami should not follow the example of his predecessor Jayalalithaa and the organization’s founder MG Ramachandran and take back those who once criticized them.
In this context, former ministers SD Somasundaram (SDS) and K. Kalimuthu are being talked about being re-hired by MGR and Jayalalithaa after a period of separation caused by bitter criticism.
