According to an official order, Rickey Radhan Pandit Vettrivel, the personal astrologer of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, has been appointed as Special Duty Officer (Political) in the Chief Minister’s Office.
A renowned astrologer has predicted actor Vijay’s political rise in 2024.
“Thiru Rickey Radhan Pandit Vettrivel is appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister (Political) with effect from the date of accession. Terms in this regard will be issued separately,” said the order signed by Reeta Harish Thakkar, Principal Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Vijay was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 10 May.
Who is Radhan Pandit?
With roughly four decades of experience in Vedic AstrologyRadhan Pandit Vettrivel, numerology and meditation based consultancy, is one of India’s most prominent celebrity and political astrologers.
Originally known as Pandit Vettrivel, the astrologer moved to Delhi in 2008 where he changed his name to Radhan Pandit.
Pandit’s clients are mostly Indian politicians, according to media reports across BJP, Congress, DMK and AIADMK.

Pandit has been among the most vocal public supporters of actor-politician Vijay and TVK. He described Vijay’s horoscope as having extraordinary “tsunami-like” power for political success well ahead of the April elections in Tamil Nadu.
Pandit predicted that Vijay would become the Chief Minister with more than 150 seats in Tamil Nadu. He also said that the temples of Tamil Nadu would be upgraded to world standards under Vijay’s leadership.
