“A serious failure of the state government…”
Karnataka BJP president BY Vijayendra on Sunday slammed the Congress party after two gelatin sticks were found in Bengaluru near where Prime Minister Modi was expected to visit. He said this is not just a security flaw, but also a failure of Congress.
Vijayendra wrote on X, “Under Congress rule, law, order and security in the state has completely broken down. Moreover, the exposure of gelatin sticks right on the route intended for the visit of the Prime Minister of the country to the capital Bengaluru is not only a serious security lapse but an inexcusable and grave failure of the state of @INCKarnataka” for law and order, which is responsible for law and order.
He also demanded that the Karnataka government conduct a thorough investigation to identify and punish the miscreants while taking strict action against negligent officials.
“There should be no room for even the slightest delay in providing maximum security to the honorable Prime Minister of the country. I request the state government to approach this sensitive and serious issue with the seriousness it deserves, conduct a thorough investigation without delay, identify and punish the culprits behind the act and not only that, but also take stern action against the negligent officials,” he said.
