Students who have excelled in the SSC-2026 public examinations are being rewarded in unique and encouraging ways across Andhra Pradesh, with teachers, public representatives and community leaders coming to recognize academic achievements and motivate young students.
In a heartwarming gesture from Vizianagaram district, a student of Zilla Parishad High School in Cheepurupalli got his first ever flying experience after becoming the head of the school. A. Hemanth, who scored 581 marks in the SSC examinations, was taken on a trip from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada at his own expense by the school’s laboratory assistant, Miriyala Krishna Rao. “The aim of this initiative was to provide government school students not only with academic success but also with unforgettable life experiences and greater exposure,” said Mr. Krishna Rao.
The school principal and teaching staff were felicitated for their dedicated efforts in guiding the students to excel. The United Teachers Federation state committee also congratulated the school’s teachers and administration for encouraging students in innovative ways.
In another initiative, TDP MLA from Srikalahasti, Bojjala Sudheer Reddy, invited three SSC toppers from his constituency – Jasmita, Sai Pujita and Mohit Charan – to his residence for lunch and praised them for their outstanding performance. The MLA also announced that each of the students would be given three cents of land as an incentive for academic excellence. “This should inspire other students to excel academically and achieve their goals,” Mr Reddy said.
The MLA said the initiative aims to encourage students to pursue higher education and strive for excellence in academics. The announcement drew widespread attention, and educators describe it as an unusual but significant effort to motivate deserving students. Parents and local residents welcomed the gesture, saying such recognition would inspire more students to focus on education and spur competitive achievement.
