On the day of voting in Tamil Nadu (23/04/2026), senior civil servant, serving in New Delhivisited Chennai attend a wedding. In the wedding hall he heard a loud message in favor Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) founder C. Joseph Vijay. The official was surprised because he had the impression that Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) would come to victory.
On the same day, the Madurai-based activist, who helps students prepare for entrance exams, went to his native village near Rajapalayam in Virudhunagar district to cast his vote. When he met young people in the village and asked about their choice, the only answer came: “Vijay, Vijay and Vijay”.
