NCP (SP) working president Supriya Sule said on Saturday (May 9, 2026) that her car was hit by another vehicle on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, but she and other passengers were safe.
“While traveling from Pune to Mumbai today, I had a horrible experience on the highway when my car was rammed from the side by GJ13CF5257 due to reckless driving,” she wrote on X.
“Fortunately, everyone is safe,” added the Baramati MP.
The incident was a stark reminder that speeding and careless driving can put lives at risk, Ms Sule said, appealing to motorists to wear seat belts, stay alert and follow responsible driving practices to make highways safer for all.
