Around 1,10,787 candidates appeared for the Karnataka Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMED-K UGET) across India out of a total of 1,30,620 registered candidates.
In Karnataka, around 35,678 candidates appeared for the exam out of a total of 40,547 registered candidates. 17,054 candidates participated in Bengaluru.
The COMED-K entrance test is the gateway for admission to around 20,000 seats in around 150 engineering colleges in Karnataka. Similarly, Uni GAUGE is an entrance exam to join more than 30 private universities in India. COMED-K and Uni GAUGE are conducted as a single exam with separate merit lists.
The exam was held in two Saturday sessions. Students wrote these exams in 171 cities across India and 25 cities in Karnataka. The exam was conducted at 109 centers in Karnataka and 46 in Bengaluru.
The preliminary answer keys will be released on 13th May and the final answer key will be released on 20th May. Students can access their rank card on May 26.
