The Prakasam district administration has expedited steps to resolve the issue of land in the prohibited list under Section 22A. District Revenue Officer (DRO) B. Chinna Obulesu reported that about 591 applications were received from people from three revenue divisions in the district who complained that their land was mistakenly listed in prohibited properties under Section 22A.
Assuring the applicants that these plots will be removed from the 22A list after verification, he said, “As per the instructions of District Collector P. Raj Babu, we are verifying the applications along with the Tahsildars at the Collectorate every week. The details of the plots have been forwarded to the District Headquarters through Revenue Divisional Officers (RDOs) and Sub-Collectors.”
The DRO said that necessary steps are being taken to resolve the applications as quickly as possible without any pending issues.
