
Irfan Khan Niazi (Image credit: Agencies) NEW DELHI: Pakistani cricketer Irfan Khan Niazi was recently stopped by the Pakistan Traffic Police for violating traffic rules after he was spotted traveling in his car without wearing a seat belt. Irfan, who recently represented Hyderabad Kingsmen in the Pakistan Super League final against Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi, found himself in a light-hearted interaction with a traffic cop.A policeman stopped Irfan’s car and asked, “Are you wearing your seat belt?” As the cricketer looked confused, the officer replied: “You didn’t wear your seat belt, you will be fined.”

Irfan smiled and replied: “Thank you.”In the end, Irfan got away without a fine, fastened his seat belt and drove away.Irfan, who made his international debut for Pakistan in 2024, has so far played nine ODIs and 14 T20Is for the national side.
