Shilo Sanders recently made waves on Instagram with a sleek all-black outfit, hinting at a potential collaboration with American Eagle. The Colorado safety shared a photo of himself dressed in a black puffy hoodie, matching pants with a chain accessory, combat boots, and a beanie, striking a casual pose on a concrete ledge while flashing a peace sign.
The post quickly gained attention, with teammate RJ Johnson commenting, "Sheesh," and NCAA March Madness’ Instagram account reaching out with, "Check DM!"
Shilo’s younger brother, Shedeur Sanders, is projected to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, with some mock drafts placing him as high as No. 3 to the New York Giants. Shilo, meanwhile, is viewed as a late-round prospect with potential, thanks to his experience and football lineage.
Both brothers have been coached by their father, Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders, who has guided them for nearly a decade—from Trinity Christian in 2017 to Jackson State and now at Colorado. With Shedeur and Shilo heading to the NFL, it marks a new chapter for the Sanders family, as Coach Prime won’t be on the sidelines with them anymore.
Shilo Sanders to Showcase Skills at CU’s Pro Day
Deion Sanders is confident that all 32 NFL teams will attend Colorado’s pro day on April 4. The event will feature several draft prospects, including potential first-rounders Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, as well as other notable players like wide receivers Jimmy Horn Jr. and LaJohntay Wester, offensive lineman Justin Mayers, and defensive end BJ Green II.
Shilo Sanders, who didn’t receive an invite to the NFL Combine, is expected to make his case at the pro day. He has been training diligently with new strength and conditioning coach Andreu Swasey to sharpen his speed and overall performance, particularly for the 40-yard dash.
During a press conference, Coach Prime expressed his excitement for the event, stating, "We should have all 32 teams in attendance because we got that many players that can flat-out play the game." He also hinted that the NFL Network may televise the event, adding, "We’re going to put on the best show possible. These young men, to have them in a capacity where they’re at peace, they’re at home, they can relax and just do what they’ve been gifted to do."
Shilo’s hard work under Swasey’s guidance has been evident, and Coach Prime is eager to see his son shine. "Shilo is working his butt off," he said. "I can’t wait to see him run the 40 and do his drills. He’s been working with Swasey, and I can’t wait to see how sharp he is."
As Shilo prepares to take the next step in his football career, the pro day will be a crucial opportunity for him to prove his worth to NFL scouts.
