The report claimed that the final match was deemed “much worse” internally and ended with Valverde requiring hospital treatment.
The situation reportedly became so serious that several players had to intervene almost immediately after the altercation began.
Marca went on to claim that no players left the training ground afterwards, with Real Madrid holding an emergency crisis meeting in the dressing room in an attempt to calm rising tensions within the squad.
And honestly, for a club that usually hides locker room dramas better than almost anyone else, this feels like a big rift on public display.
Madrid are already staring at a trophyless season, trailing FC Barcelona by 11 points in La Liga and continuing to grapple with growing fan frustration, speculation over their managerial future and constant noise off the pitch.

According to reports from Spain, tensions between Valverde and Tchouameni were already high after the pair clashed during training on Wednesday 8 May. But Thursday’s incident is said to have escalated much further from the very beginning.
Marca claimed that the altercation immediately started with an aggressive tone, forcing several teammates to step in before the situation escalated further.
The report also stated that Valverde was later taken to hospital following the altercation, although the exact nature of the problem or treatment has yet to be officially clarified by the club.
Internally, several sources have reportedly described the incident as “very serious”, with concerns growing about the atmosphere within the team ahead of a crucial stage of the season.
The dressing room meeting that followed reportedly lasted a considerable amount of time and the players remained at Valdebebas as senior figures attempted to defuse the situation.
