
AP Central Power Distribution Company Limited (CPDCL) CMD P. Pulla Reddy on Wednesday held a review meeting and reviewed solarisation at feeder level, installation of solar rooftop systems for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) consumers and implementation of PM Surya Ghar scheme. .
Addressing the officials, Mr. Pulla Reddy directed that emphasis should be placed on speedy delivery of services to consumers and achieving 100% revenue collection. He said this should be adopted to address low voltage issues and there should be continuous monitoring of feeders to prevent breakdowns. He also ensured that the billing process was completed on time and that the construction work at the substations was carried out at a brisk pace.
Mr. Pulla Reddy instructed the officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the summer months to avoid inconvenience to the public. He proposed the extension of WhatsApp Governance services to improve accessibility, noting that a public opinion survey based on three key questions of CPDCL received 78.10% positive response.
He called for efforts to raise the statistics level above 90% and directed officials to focus on works under the improved distribution scheme. CPDCL Directors Muralikrishna Yadav (Technical), TVSN Murthy (Projects) and Venkateswarlu (Finance) along with other senior officials attended.
