While congratulating the deserving students who secured the top score in SSLC, MLA Channareddy Patil Tunnur suggested the education department officials to properly guide the failed students to achieve results and ensure 100% pass rate in future examinations.
He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating a felicitation program for deserving students in Yadgir on Wednesday.
Mr. Tunnur said the district has seen considerable improvement due to the efforts of teachers and officials of the Education Department.
“I wish the students who have achieved good results and appeal to the department heads and teachers to focus more on the failed students and ensure similar results in future examinations,” said Mr. Tunnur.
Deputy Commissioner Harshal Bhoyar said 86 schools in the district registered 100% pass rate.

“The improvement of the district was also appreciated by the minister of education. The police officers should ensure 100% success in the next year as well,” he added.
Zilla Panchayat CEO Lavish Ordia said the district has crossed 91% pass rate due to tireless efforts by officers, especially Deputy Director of Public Instruction Channabasappa Mudhol, who has initiated many new programs to encourage students to appear fearlessly for exams.
Superintendent of Police Pruthvik Shankar said the district has seen many milestones in the field of education. Four young talents have successfully cleared the UPSC exams and two young advocates have become judges after passing the bar exams.
“These achievements have brought the district a good name and I wish everyone to continue this with enthusiasm in the future,” he said.
During the event, meritorious students, teachers and officials were felicitated.
Mr. Channabasappa Mudhol, Ashok Kembhavi and others were present.
