Maximum temperatures in Telangana continued to rise on Sunday (May 3, 2026) with a total of six districts recording temperatures above 45℃.
According to Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) data, Balkonda in Nizamabad was the hottest place in the state with a temperature of 45.8℃. It was followed by 45.7℃ in Mallapur (Jagtial), 45.4℃ in Palakurthy (Peddapalli), 45.3℃ in Bela (Adilabad), 45.2℃ in Kerameri (Kumaram Bheem Asifabad) and 45.1℃ in Bheemaram (Mancheriaramam).
