Rajasthan Royals pacer Nandre Burger was fined after his animated celebration of Rishabh Pant’s dismissal was deemed provocative (match 32).Young Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Angkrish Raghuvanshi faced penalties for venting his frustrations – hitting his bat and throwing his helmet – following his controversial dismissal for obstructing the field (38th match).Perhaps the most talked-about incident involved Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag, who was fined for using vape in the dressing room, an act that violates Indian law and brought the game into disrepute during the 40 over match against Punjab Kings.Delhi Capitals’ Kyle Jamieson also received a warning and penalty point for an aggressive dismissal aimed at youngster Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the 43rd over against Rajasthan Royals.Captains under scanner for slow speedingIn addition to individual incidents, excessive rate violations have added another level of concern. Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer was fined twice while Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans), Ruturaj Gaikwad (Chennai Super Kings), Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians) and Ajinkya Rahane (Kolkata Knight Riders) were also penalised.
