The father of a four-year-old child who was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered in Nasrapur, Pune district of Maharashtra demanded death sentence for the accused and asked political leaders not to visit his home and offer condolences till the verdict is pronounced. He made the announcement in his own video released on Sunday (May 3, 2026).
“We are currently in Deh to immerse my daughter’s ashes. During this time I have been informed by relatives and friends that several politicians have visited our house to express their condolences. I want to make one humble request on behalf of my family and myself; until my daughter gets justice and the accused is given the death penalty, no politician should come to meet us. Until he can meet us, including politicians, we will only be open to meet by anyone. express condolences,” the man said in the video.
