District Collector Dr. A. Siri on Sunday (May 3, 2026) issues preventive detention orders against two habitual Illicit Distilled (ID) Liquor offenders from the district. The Collector invoked Section 3 (1) of the Andhra Pradesh Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Smugglers, Bandits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Encroachers Act, 1986 against the smugglers.
The two accused have been identified as Satupati Krishna of Maddikera village under Pathikonda excise station limits and Telugu Ramadasu of Kollampalli Thanda in Kallur mandal under Kurnool excise station.
