Even as Visakhapatnam is set to become the IT and AI hub of Andhra Pradesh, the 19-year-old demand for a direct train to Bengaluru, India’s Silicon Valley, remains unfulfilled.
With many IT giants investing in the Visakhapatnam region and several big-ticket projects in the pipeline, the need for a direct train connecting the two top IT destinations in the country is felt more than ever. The long-awaited direct train service is now considered a critical economic necessity.
