Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Whip in Assembly KP Vivekanand observed that the state is in a period of deceiving people in the name of ‘praja paalana, pragathi nivedika’ programme, without any good coming the way of the people.
Sixty days of the 99 days of the scheme have already passed and even the fate of applications received for various welfare schemes in the first phase of the scheme remains uncertain, said Mr. Vivekanand while talking to reporters along with former legislator Methuku Anand here on Saturday. Requests received by the government for houses, social security pensions and other local issues remain unprocessed, although they were all part of a long list of promises made by Congress ahead of the 2023 assembly elections.
