A one-member committee that probed the controversy surrounding the supply of adulterated ghee to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) for preparing laddu prasadam has submitted its report to the Andhra Pradesh government identifying procedural and administrative malpractice.
According to sources in the chief minister’s office (CMO), a report submitted by a committee headed by retired IAS officer Dinesh Kumar found that administrative lapses in the TTD led to the adulteration of ghee.
