Commuters in the eastern parts of the city have been advised to prepare for light traffic congestion on May 3 as the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders is scheduled to be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
According to the Malkajgiri traffic police, traffic restrictions and diversions will be in force from 12:00 to 24:00 in view of the expected rush of spectators to the stadium. Congestion is expected on key stretches from Nagole to Habsiguda via Uppal Junction and from Boduppal to Amberpet via Uppal Junction and Ramanthapur. Motorists have been advised to avoid these routes and take alternative corridors.
