Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at a meeting of Additional Chief Secretaries, Chief Secretaries/Secretaries of all Government Departments in Bengaluru on Saturday.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday directed senior officials to speed up the process of filling up 24,300 vacancies in various government departments and address drinking water issues on priority.
Presiding over a meeting of senior officials, including Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh, other Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries, the Chief Minister said the Finance Department, which he heads, has given permission to fill posts in several departments.
