Two years after then Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) Haryana president Nafe Singh Rathee, 66, was shot dead by assailants in Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district, his family on Thursday alleged that the CBI’s investigation into the case is being hampered by “pressure from a Union minister”.
Sheila Rathee, state executive member of the INLD at a press conference in Chandigarh, said she was “not satisfied” with the progress of the investigation into her husband’s murder. “My complaint is not against the CBI but those who currently hold power in the central government,” she said.
