Infosys said in a regulatory filing on Thursday that its board has approved the appointment of Nitin Paranjpe as non-executive vice-chairman of the company with immediate effect on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Mr. Paranjpe brings extensive experience, including as Non-Executive Chairman of Hindustan Unilever Ltd. and non-executive vice chairman of Heineken NV. As vice chairman, he will support the chairman in leading the board and strategic agenda, the company said.
