Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav
A robust system would be put in place to control and monitor the process of procurement of medicines and their distribution to various hospitals and then to patients, said Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Minister Satya Kumar Yadav.
In a meeting at the secretariat on Thursday, April 30, where the availability of medicines was discussed, the minister said that a specialized agency would be involved to review the entire process. He said that the list of essential medicines and the list of other medicines will be reviewed and those medicines which are not necessary will be removed and essential ones will be added.
