The controversial chapter on judiciary, which appeared in the now-banned Class 8 social studies textbook published by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) earlier this year, was reviewed within NCERT and reviewed at the highest levels, including NCERT director DP Saklani, educationist Suparna Diwakar said in an affidavit.
Ms Diwakar was one of three experts barred by the Supreme Court from future state appointments for drafting a chapter on judicial corruption.
