
RR batter humorously replies to Salman Khan’s post NEW DELHI: Rajasthan Royals staged a stunning run chase against Punjab Kings on Tuesday as they piled on 223 runs to hand PBKS their first defeat of IPL 2026 at Mullanpur.The star of the night was South African batsman Donovan Ferreira who smashed an unbeaten 52 off just 26 balls. In the absence of Shimron Hetmyer, Ferreira moved up the order and attacked the Punjab bowlers in the death overs to complete the game with four balls remaining.

Ferreira, Dubey seal a dramatic chase
Rajasthan Royals still needed 71 runs from the last six overs as Ferreira shifted gears alongside Shubham Dubey, who remained unbeaten on 31 from just 12 balls.The pair completely changed the momentum of the match with aggressive hitting and dismantled PBKS pacers Arshdeep Singh and Lockie Ferguson.Earlier, teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi gave RR a flying start with 43 off 16 balls, including five sixes.Despite Yuzvendra Chahal’s strong spell picking up three wickets, Punjab Kings could not stop Rajasthan’s late onslaught as their unbeaten run this season finally came to an end.
