
KSDL on Tuesday reported a turnover of ₹2,016 crore and a profit of ₹507 crore during the financial year 2025-26 that ended on 31 March.
Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL), established in 1916 as a government soap factory by Maharaja Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV to utilize surplus sandalwood supplies during World War I, has set an ambitious target of ₹3,000 crore in turnover by 2028 and ₹3,000 ₹200,000 ₹5,000
The state-owned enterprise on Tuesday reported a turnover of ₹2,016 crore and a profit of ₹507 crore for the financial year 2025-26 that ended on 31 March. Speaking on the occasion, MB Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries, said that while the organization took 105 years to reach ₹1,000 crore turnover, it has doubled the number to ₹2,000 crore in just four years.
