To ease the growing demand for passport services, the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Hyderabad has announced a special Passport Mela on May 9, during which 4,000 regular passport appointments will be made available at all five Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) functioning under its jurisdiction.
In a statement from J. Snehaji, Regional Passport Officer, Hyderabad, the mela is expected to help reduce the current waiting time of 8 to 10 working days for normal passport appointments at the PSK.
