Even three years after the launch of an ambitious drinking water project to ensure adequate water supply to the Kondagattu hill shrine in Jagtial district, the project has failed to make any headway.
The foundation stone of the project was laid near Muthyampeta village near Kondagattu at an estimated expenditure of ₹13.43 crore during the previous BRS government in March 2023. The project was conceived to permanently address the water needs of the Kondagattu hill shrine to fully cater to the needs of the pilgrims, sources said.
