Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C. Sudarshan Reddy urged all voters to verify their or their parents/grandparents details and get linked or mapped with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2002 by contacting the concerned Booth Level Officer (BLO) or senior BLO “so that they do not have to submit any prescribed documents” and avoid further inconvenience during the revision period. Voters have been asked to meet the BLO of their polling stations or Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) for further details.
Stating that the Election Commission of India will lead the SIR process, he said on Monday (April 27, 2026) that the schedule would be released soon.
