Horticulture crops grown on over 724 acres and six guntas in Shivamogga taluk have been affected by rains this month (till April 26), according to the Shivamogga district administration.
In Holehonnur they planed 685 acres and 13 gunts; in Anaveri they plan about 30 acres; and in Kallihal hobli, around 8 acres and 15 guntas of horticultural crops were badly affected. Besides, as many as 15 houses in Anaveri hobli and eight houses in Holehonnur hobli were damaged.
