Rinku Singh has made a reputation as one of the best finishers in the IPL. But apart from that, the KKR star is also known to be someone who wants to get the bat from his favorite players and teammates before or after the match. He has already added Virat Kohli’s bat to his collection. But after his heroics in the LSG game, Mohsin Khan pulled a reverse uno on him.
KKR released a video after the game where the players were seen talking to each other. Mohsin approached Rink and said he wanted his bat. Rinku was hesitant at first and then the pacer joined Rishabh Pant to be his peacemaker and advocate. The LSG captain convinced the KKR star to grant Mohsin’s wish.
Rinku showed him his collection of bats and Mohsin was free to choose a new one and left the KKR dressing room. You can watch the full video below:
It was a great day for Rinka and Mohsin as they put in good performances for their respective sides on Sunday in Lucknow. Mohsin destroyed KKR’s top order as he claimed five wickets for 23 runs in his four overs.
Kolkata were in all sorts of trouble when Rinku came on and played a sensational 83 runs to ensure they posted a total of 155 runs. Rinku was sensational on the pitch and took four catches to keep Kolkata in the contest.
The match went to a super end where Rinku again showed his nerve to shut out Aiden Markram with a little help from Rovman Powell.
Rinku then hit the winning runs to eventually get his team home and secured their second win of the season.
