The centenary foundation day of Andhra University was celebrated on the campus with solemn solemnity and festive atmosphere on Sunday and the institution was gearing up for its valedictorian on Monday.
Vice-Chancellor GP Raja Sekhar paid floral tributes to the statue of the University’s first Vice-Chancellor, Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy, in the administration building. Floral tributes were also paid at the university crest at the main gate, followed by commemorative events at the AU@100 venue.
