Survey for various local authorities Gujarat closed on Sunday (April 26, 2026) with under 50% participation recorded in 15 city corporations amid heat wave, officials said.
According to the State Election Commission (SEC), while municipal corporations recorded a tepid 48.55% voter turnout, voter turnout was higher in rural areas, with district and taluka panchayats recording 60.22% and 61.08% respectively.
