The right-hander once again showed his simple but effective approach – to watch the ball carefully and send it over the line in rhythm.Samson started his innings cautiously, facing the opening through Mohammed Siraj, where he managed just one run. However, he quickly shifted gears in the next over and took on the pace of Kagiso Rabada-led Gujarat Titans. He smashed Rabada’s clean boundary and in the process reached a major milestone – 5000 runs in the Indian Premier League.
