YouTuber IShowSpeed, who is in Trinidad at the moment, was seen having fun on the cricket field in a viral video where he shouted at Virat Kohli and took a swipe at Babar Azam. The clip showed Speed first watching his friend strike before joining in.
After his friend failed to play a good shot and was quickly dismissed, Speed taunted him with a reference to the Pakistani batsman. “Bro, what was that? That’s Babar Azam stuff, bro,” Speed said. He then struck out himself and after hitting the bowler on the boundary, jumped up in celebration and shouted out the Indian star. “Virate Kohli baby. Shout out to my friend Virat Kohli,” Speed said.

Speed has long been known to be a fan of Kohli. He traveled to India during the 2023 World Cup, watched the India vs Pakistan match and also met Jay Shah. However, his wish to meet Kohli did not materialize even as he continued to publicly support the Indian batter.
He had also earlier reacted to Kohli’s Test exit in 2025 and said he was saddened by the decision. “This is sad. All the legends retire, bro. All the legends retire, man. No goddamn way you just retired! No goddamn way he just retired! And they just won the ICC! Why is he retiring when they just won the ICC? Like, what the hell?! that?” Speed said.
Meanwhile, Kohli continued his strong run with the bat for RCB in IPL 2026. He scored 328 runs in seven matches at a strike rate of 163.18 and an average of 54.67.
