A woman who confronted a Maharashtra minister demanding that a BJP protest blocking a major road in Mumbai be moved to an empty maidan next door wanted to trigger a stampede, the complainant asked on Friday (April 24, 2026).
A young woman approached Worli police on Friday (April 24, 2026) requesting that an FIR be registered against the unidentified woman. The young lawyer admonished the woman for raising her voice against the protest, which led to traffic snarls, claiming the woman didn’t mind and was aware of national media coverage. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police booked the organizers of the BJP protest for violating the terms and conditions for holding the public march.
