The rate of increase in votes polled during parliamentary polls compared to the previous election (2021) is the lowest in 15 years, despite Tamil Nadu records a record percentage of participation.
The increase is about 5.5%, while in 2021 it was 6.22%; 18.5% in 2016; and 11.4% in 2011.
