The Tripura Police have launched an investigation after a drone was found hovering over the high-security New Capital Complex in Agartala on Friday (April 23, 2026). The drone mysteriously disappeared before police could take it into custody.
The New Capital complex houses the State Secretariat, the Assembly and the Lok Bhavan. It used to be part of a royal era military cantonment before new structures came up 15 years ago.
