Sholinganallur, the largest Assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu in terms of number of voters, saw a massive increase in voter turnout in this election as compared to the previous ones.
While in 2021 the constituency recorded a voter turnout of 55%, this year the preliminary figures released by the electoral authorities were around 80.4%.
