Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre on Friday handed over 13 vehicles, including three four-wheelers, to the Elephant Task Force to handle human-elephant conflict in Hassan district.
The minister flagged off the vehicles at a ceremony at Aranya Bhavana in Bengaluru. The vehicles include a Scorpio, two camper vans and 10 two-wheelers provided by the National Highways Authority of India from its Corporate Social Responsibility fund.
