Just a few months ago, Tarluvada was a name unknown to many residents Visakhapatnam. The once quiet village of 3,000 residents, nestled amidst picturesque hills in Anandapuram Mandal on the outskirts of the city, outside the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) limits, is undergoing an unprecedented phase of change. Today, as is preparing for worldwide attention Google establishes its first hyperscale 1 GW AI data center outside the United States here.
Preparations for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the project estimated to cost more than ₹ 1,00,000, scheduled for April 28have begun and continue at a rapid pace. Spread across more than 260 acres, the data center site is being razed to prepare for the grand opening. The stage is being prepared for the main program and the helipad area is being prepared for the VVIP arrivals. The foundation stone will be laid by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
